Job description
– Provide direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
– Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
– Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
– Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient assessment and treatment planning
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
Qualifications:“`
– Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location]
– Minimum of 1 years of experience working in an ICU or critical care sProficiency in providing infant care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing specialized equipment
– Experience in health coaching to support patients in making lifestyle changes for improved health outcomes
– Familiarity with Cerner or other electronic health record systems for documentation and communication purposes
– Ability to perform catheterization procedures and provide appropriate care for patients with urinary catheters
– Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) used in critical care settings, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
– Experience with sonography techniques for assessing cardiac function or other relevant diagnostic purposes
